HRCRC Secures the Release of Over 30 Inmates from Abakaliki Correctional Centre: Providing Access to Justice for the most vulnerable of society is part of our core mandate; as such, 36 innocent members of society who were illegally incarcerated since the 24th of May, 2020, regained their freedom through our intervention in collaboration with other legal entities and agencies. It is worthy of note that these have been discharged and acquitted by three different courts in the past.
