Still on the Peaceful Electioneering Drive across Ebonyi State, HRCRC organised the first of three town hall meetings in Ugwulangwu, Ohaozara in Ebonyi South.
The youths, elders, chiefs and women in Ugwulangwu and delegates from all neighboring villages and all of Ebonyi South Senatorial Zone all gathered in the Palace of Eze RF Iyiorku to deliberate on past electoral violence and to chart a new course forward.
Highlight was a unanimous agreement to intensively carry on the sensitization against violence, desist from violence during the elections and to deal with any inciters of violence. This was duly signed the Traditional Ruler.
