Today, we visited Umunnabuode, Ezillo to mediate on a family land boundary dispute, met with the elders and key stakeholders of the community, who patiently shared in details the history and underlying causes of the dispute.
The engagement created an atmosphere of openness, understanding, and mutual respect.
After constructive dialogue, all parties expressed their commitment to pursuing a peaceful resolution in the interest of the family and the wider community.
We commend the elders, stakeholders, and everyone involved for choosing dialogue over division. Peace is built when communities come together to listen, understand, and seek justice.
