HRCRC Visits Abakaliki Correctional Centre to Mark International Human Rights Day: Commemorating the 2023 International Human Rights Day Themed – Freedom, Equality and Justice for All, Human Rights and Conflicts Resolution Centre HRCRC, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State visited the Nigeria Correctional Service, Abakaliki Custodial Centre, to interact with the wardens and inmates; donating medical items, drugs and toiletries, whilst encouraging the inmates.
Of almost 1500 inmates in the 380-capacity Custodial Centre, only 63 are convicted as at today 11th December, 2023.
