HRCRC covers four broad areas of needs:
- Access to Justice (pro bono services, police cells and correctional centre monitoring/decongestion, human rights watch, campaigns, and sensitisation, capacity building and research)
- Peace building, Conflict Resolution and good governance (good governance advocacy, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) practice, peace building initiative, and conflict management, capacity building and research)
- Women and Children (gender-based violence intervention, child rights protection and promotion, capacity building and research)
- Counselling and other professional emotional and psychosocial support and accompaniments
